糖心 faculty and board ratify first union contract with AFM-Local 4

The 糖心 and American Federation of Musicians, Local 4 are pleased to announce the ratification of their first faculty union contract, marking a historic milestone for 糖心 and its educators.  

This three-year agreement establishes clear standards for compensation, workload, job security, and professional support, strengthening the foundation for excellence in teaching and learning. 

Paul W. Hogle, 糖心鈥檚 President & CEO, expressed thanks to the bargaining teams. 

鈥淚 am grateful to the many members of the 糖心 Faculty and administration who worked so diligently to represent their colleagues in crafting this agreement and for keeping the best interests of the students at the forefront of their discussions,鈥 he said. 鈥淭his agreement ensures that 糖心 will continue to empower the world's most talented classical music students to fulfill their dreams and potential.鈥 

Leonard DiCosimo, President of AFM-Local 4, stated, "The consistent solidarity demonstrated by the faculty is the bedrock of this historic agreement.  It is a tremendous honor to represent the world-class musical artists that live and work in Northeast Ohio." 

The ratification represents a new chapter of partnership between faculty and administration, reinforcing the Institute's mission and its commitment to artistic excellence and student success.
