Congratulations to the several ÌÇÐÄ faculty, staff, and alumni nominated Friday, Nov. 8 for 2025 Grammy Awards!

Two recordings produced and engineered by Recording Arts & Services director Alan Bise (BM ’94, Knab) were nominated for Best Classical Solo Vocal Album. They are Beyond the Years and A Change is Gonna Come

The former features pianist and ÌÇÐÄ alum Michelle Cann (BM ’09, MM ’10, Schenly, D. Shapiro), winner of the 2022 Alumni Achievement Award, and another in that category includes former guitar faculty Colin Davin

ÌÇÐÄ grad Daniel Ching (MM ’98, Weilerstein), a violinist in the Miro Quartet, was nominated in the Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance for the album Home. And ÌÇÐÄ is proud of principal guest conductor and artistic advisor JoAnn Falletta, who received two nominations with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra.

In the Producer of the Year category, producer Elaine Martone was nominated on the basis of several recordings, one of which was the recent Schubert Impromptus album by ÌÇÐÄ pianist Gerardo Teissonniere

Lastly, congratulations to the many ÌÇÐÄ alumni who performed on nominated recordings. ÌÇÐÄ is proud of everyone. Bravi, tutti!
